"This modality is unique to me because I am the originator of this modality, MyoKinetic-Sling Therapy (MKST)©, was developed through my varied background and years of experience as a massage* professional and massage* instructor."
"MyoKinetic-Sling Therapy (MKST)© is a session directed at the 4 primary myofascial slings (chains) of the Fascial System. Each individual sling releases kinetic energy for strength and balance within the fascial system. This is evident in Postural Assessment (Standing, Sitting, and Lying) and Gait assessments (Walking and Running). Imbalances within the Fascial System limit energy transference and strength within the entire system thus myofascial guarding. This is a great massage for eveyone needing fascial system release especially Athletes, Dancers, Manual and Physical Laborers, and Bodyworkers. This service combines integrated techniques of Myofascial Release (MFR), Neuromuscular Trigger Point Release (NMTrPR), Proprioceptive Neuromuscular Facilitation (PNF), Myofascial Stripping (MFS), Lymphatic Facilitation (LF) and Swedish Massage* as needed."
* I would highly recommend (and may request) talking with your primary care provider prior to scheduling a massage to see if you are a good candidate for this massage; if you have an acute/chronic medical condition or injury.
* Massage is not an alternative medicine but an adjunct therapy to assist the body in healing. Sometimes "Advanced medical conditions" and/or "prescribed medications" preclude (Contraindicate) "Part or All" of the massage or the "avoidance of certain modalities or techniques of massage".

This Temporomandibular Joint Dysfunction Protocol (TMJDP)© is non-orally invasive. Legally, the state of Texas does not allow massage professionals to massage intraorally. Therefore, I developed this protocol* originally to help my sister so that she wouldn't have to go to her dentist for her joint and muscular pain associated with her TMJD. Bruxism, Vertigo, Tension Headaches, Tooth Aches, and Spontaneous TMJ dislocation are also associated with TMJD.
*This protocol is a multi-modality protocol to address the bilateral TMJs and their surrounding musculature. This protocol* involves regional assessment, MFR, NMTrPs, PNF, Strain/Counter-strain, and Positional Release.
All other modalities maybe integrated by choice and for a specified fee (ask for pricing).
* I would highly recommend (and may request) talking with your dentist (or Primary Care Provider) prior to scheduling a massage to see if you are a good candidate for this massage; if you have an acute/chronic medical condition or injury.

ProSports Massage Therapy (PSMT) © is my development of a type of massage* designed for highly active people who engage in athletics. Engaging in sports is harsh on the body and can often lead to injuries in both the short and long term. ProSports Massage Therapy (PSMT) © enhances performance and prolongs a sports career by helping to prevent injury, reduce pains and swelling in the body, relax the mind, increase flexibility, and dramatically improve recovery rates. ProSports Massage Therapy (PSMT) © is also highly effective in aiding the rapid recovery of an athlete from an injury* by encouraging greater kinesthetic awareness and in turn promoting the body's natural immune function.
* I would highly recommend (and may request) talking with your primary care provider (Sports Physician) prior to scheduling a massage to see if you are a good candidate for this massage; if you have an acute/chronic medical condition or sports or non-sports related trauma

Deep Pressure Massage (DPM) with Cryokinetic Therapy (DPMCKT) © is a my development form of bodywork that aims to relieve tension in the deeper/deepest layers of tissue in the body and specifically means deep pressure.
Cryokinetic Therapy is the application of ice (Cryotherapy) combined with Myokinetic movements and/or stretching to facilitate removal of toxic metabolites and to influence the body's natural healing response.
Deep Pressure Massage (DPM) is about specific deep pressure techniques and effecting the Deeper and some of the Deepest Tissues and is All ABOUT THE PRESSURE.
Deep Pressure Massage (DPM) is a highly effective method for releasing chronic stress areas due to misalignment, repetitive motions, and past lingering injuries. Due to the nature of the deep pressue work, open communication during the session is crucial to make sure you don't get too uncomfortable during the application.
Keep in mind that soreness related to this type of work, mainly happens with Deeper Pressure being applied and Cryokinetics helps eleveate some it not most of the soreness related to this work.
Post-massage Protocol: suggest using cryotherapy as need for up to 3 days post-massage and contrast therapy from 4 to 7 days as needed post-massage.
Soreness related to most deep pressure massages is due to "Deeper Pressure" being applied during the massage.
If you should experience post-massage soreness, then I suggest Cryotherapy (Ice Application to the immediate area as needed and never directly on your skin) as a post-massage protocol.
Contrast Therapy is using Ice (Cryotherapy) then moist heat (Thermotherapy) immediate following each other or simultaneous application of ice and heat juxtaposed as need. I will give my clients all necessary information for each protocol to insure the best results for each.
All clients should drink plenty of water to aid with the flushing and removal of metabolic toxins that will have been released from the deeper/deepest tissues during their session.
* I would highly recommend (and may request) talking with your primary care provider prior to scheduling a massage to see if you are a good candidate for this massage; if you have an acute/chronic medical condition or injury (trauma).
* Massage is not an alternative medicine but an adjunct therapy to assist the body in healing. Sometimes "Advanced medical conditions" and/or "prescribed medications" preclude (Contraindicate) "part or all" of the massage or the "avoidance of certain modalities or techniques of massage".
My Medical Massage Protocol (MMP) © is my approach to the adjunct medical application of massage for a natural healing experience. The goal of my protocol is to assist your own body's natural healing mechanisms through various modalities and techniques of massage* I have mastered through my years of experience as a licensed massage professional and massage instructor.
I also will explain other methods of natural healing to the discerning client wanting to know more about what I have learned through personal and professional experience and self-education about how the body can and will heal itself when given what it needs to heal.

* I would highly recommend (and I might request) talking with your primary care provider prior to scheduling a massage to see if you are a good candidate for any massage; if you have an acute/chronic medical condition or injury (trauma).

Swedish Massage* is a very relaxing and therapeutic style of bodywork. It combines oils or lotion with an array of strokes such as Effleurage (gliding), Petrissage (kneading), Friction (superficial and deep) and Vibration (manual and/or mechanical), and Tapotement (percussion) to help the body improve its circulation. Deep Friction, Vibration, and Tapotement are not always performed unless there is a specific need or requested by the client.
The benefits of this type of bodywork are wide-ranging and include relief from aches and pains, decreased stress levels in the body, enhanced mental clarity, improved appearance, and greater flexibility.
Pressure for this massage this light to moderate only. if you would like a massage with deep or deeper pressure; Please refer to my Deep Pressure Massage w/CKT ©*.
First Rule of Every Massage is "Do No Harm or Do No Further Harm."
* I would highly recommend (and may request) talking with your primary care provider prior to scheduling a massage to see if you are a good candidate for this massage; if you have an acute/chronic medical condition or injury (trauma).

Professional Chair massage (PCM) is a popular way of relieving stress and releasing tension right in your home or workplace. You receive your massage in a specialized ergonomic chair which I bring to your location. In addition to the usual health benefits of massage, another benefit of chair massage is that it is done over the clothing. With seated massage, you can avoid the discomfort and awkwardness that you may feel in disrobing for a traditional massage. Also, professional chair massage sessions are usually shorter than traditional massage (15, 30, and 45 minutes), making it convenient enough to fit into your busy schedule.
I use a very unique massage chair which allows me to even take you into a horizontal position unlike all other massage chairs given it a near table like experience. Note to All of my Clients: My chair has a unique knee pad which is very comfortable for everyone on my chair and the chair frame design will "NOT" require my female clients to pull up your skirt or dress like other massage chairs will force you to do.

Lymphatic Facilitation (LF)* aims to gently and rhythmically move the lymph through the body, especially swollen areas* of the body, relieving pressure and enhancing the functioning of the immune system. As both a preventative and remedial technique, LF can be used for a wide range of purposes including faster recovery from injury, reduction of swelling*, and strengthened resistance to illness. LF was developed as a method to address the non-athlete and athlete alike. All 80 and 110 sessions also integrate Swedish Massage at no extra cost.
All other modalities maybe integrated by choice and for a specified fee (ask for pricing).
* I would highly recommend (and may request) talking with your primary care provider prior to scheduling a massage to see if you are a good candidate for this massage; if you have an acute/chronic medical condition or injury (trauma).
*Edema (swelling) may have numerous medical causes therefore requires that a direct determination of the edema be diagnosed by a licensed medical professional (See Your Doctor).
* Massage is not an alternative medicine but an adjunct therapy to assist the body in healing. Sometimes "Advanced medical conditions" and/or "prescribed medications" preclude (Contraindicate) "part or all" of the massage or the "avoidance of certain modalities or techniques of massage".

Myofascial release (MFR) is a form of soft tissue therapy intended to eliminate pain, increase range of motion, and rebalance the entire body. It does this by using massage techniques to stretch the fascia and release the bonds that exist between the fascia, muscles and bones. Fascia is the connective tissue that connects and covers all muscles, organs, and skeletal structures of the body. Direct myofascial release is sometimes known as deep tissue work. Indirect release applies light pressure and gently stretches the fascia; this allows for increased blood circulation and relief from pain.

Trigger Point Therapy (TrP) is a style of bodywork that focuses on stimulating and releasing "trigger points" in your body. Trigger points are tender areas of tension similar to acupressure points, except they occur in the belly of the muscle rather than along the energy pathways of the body. These "knots" are built up throughout a person's life due to physical, mental, and/or emotional stress. During a session, focused pressure is applied through a variety of techniques order to release your trigger points. This process can be quite painful at times, yet the effects are lasting and profoundly transformative. All sessions will include MFR to enhance the release of fascial tissues of related muscle fibers.
All other modalities maybe integrated by choice and for a specified fee (ask for pricing).
